Unique Painting Activity for Senior Groups!
The Potter’s Wheel Studio would love to offer senior groups the opportunity and creative outlet to paint their own pottery in the comfort of their facility. Let us bring the ability to paint and create their very own masterpieces to you. It’s easy! All you have to do is pre-select the already bisque fired, ready to paint pieces of pottery and the date, and we will do the rest. Senior groups will love painting their one-of-a kind masterpieces that they and family members and friends will cherish. The Activities Director will receive a complimentary piece of pottery as our thank you with every painting session booked.

- A picture frame to display beloved pictures
- A vase for those beautiful flowers
- Tiles for hanging or spoon rests, or even made into clocks
- Many difference animal figurines
- Boxes with lids to keep treasures
- Many, many more items to choose from!
We will deliver all the bisque, non-toxic, lead-free, washable glazes, brushes, sponges, and detailed instructions. As an optional service, we can even stay to help facilitate the project. On the weekends, we can even bring some “grandkids” that would love to visit and help the residents as well, or we can leave you with the bisque and supplies and return to pick up the painted pieces at your convenience. We will walk you through the process of painting the pottery, explaining in detail what happens to the pottery from when we pick up the painted pieces to when we return the fired masterpieces. Please know all the fired pieces will be top rack dishwasher safe and of course food safe!
We can customize your projects to suit your residents’ needs. We can even offer a two-part series of clay hand-building projects or an opportunity for the residents to throw pots on our portable wheel! So no matter the project you would like, we can customize it just for you!
