Paint-Your-Own Pottery Parties!
Who? You, your child, or both! We have loads of fun options for your special person and his/her friends – of any ages. If they can hold a paint brush without eating it, they can party! (Though all glazes are non-toxic.)
What? All you have to do is reserve your date, pick your pieces and paint colors, and either meet your party at the studio or pick up the supplies for a party-to-go! Absolutely no experience necessary! We offer a huge variety of bisque shapes. Bring your special celebrant in to the store in advance to pick your shape(s) and glaze colors. Bisque choices include boxes, banks, figurines, fun and usable dishware, and fabulous home accents.
Where? You have a choice of venue – our Party To-Go option has been extremely popular. You may also have your party in our studio during set party hours. There is a special discount if you take the party “to-go”, though your partiers will enjoy the same products, tools, paints, etc. With the “to-go” option you have more flexibility in days/times, plus you can host larger groups or couple the painting part of a party with any other plans you have (like freeze dance or any other games or play time you have planned).
When? All in-store party reservations require a $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve your time. Should something happen and you need to reschedule, the deposit will transfer to the new time. The balance of the party fees is due on the day of the party. Parties-to-go require full payment of the party fees when the supplies are picked up (deposit is not applied to the fees). An additional $50 deposit will be held for parties-to-go until the supplies are returned in good condition, or will be processed if the supplies are damaged or not returned within two days following the party date. Why? When the piece is finished – you have a completely unique, hand made functional or fanciful object d’art to last a lifetime. These pieces make fantastic gifts because they cannot be duplicated anywhere – they are your own work of art. Perfect for Mom or Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, best friends, teachers, coaches, departing co-workers or classmates, even your vet or dentist!
Please note that you do not need to purchase a party package just to bring a group in to paint. Walk-ins welcome! Large groups should call in advance so we can save you space J
You also don’t need to celebrate a birthday to have a party to-go! For any occasion, skip the goody bags and extra gifts of bisque and pay only for the bisque you've selected.
The party packages run as follows (in both cases, the cost of the pieces themselves are based on your selection – you can get any mix of items that you like) ~
Party-to-Go Package:
$4 per partier plus the cost of the bisque ~ save $6 per partier!

Parties with guests under 5 must be accompanied by a grown up.
Food, etc. You may bring in food, cake, and beverages if you like. Bring your own paper products and utensils. You can also order from Vocelli's pizza for delivery at a special rate once you arrive.
Important fine print: Partiers under 5 years must be accompanied by a grown up. You are welcome to bring in cake, pizza (get a great deal from Vocelli’s!), and/or beverages and balloons if you like. We ask that you save any piñatas for home because of the fragile nature of the products in the studio. We also ask that only the partiers and host(s) remain for the party (except for Grown Up and Me parties). Parents and friends drop off and pick up any partiers via the host parent. Minimum 6 partiers for party packages.
In all cases, finished pottery pieces will be available for pick up in about a week. You can pick them all up at once, as soon as they are ready - we will call to let you know they are done. They will be wrapped individually for your distribution to the partiers.
(For BEADING parties, partiers will take their jewelry home right away!)
